New to the Area? You’re Welcome at Christ First Church

A Christ-centered church in Downingtown where individuals and families can grow in faith, build community, and find their place.

WHAT TO EXPECT AT CHRIST FIRST CHURCH

A Place to Belong and Grow

Moving to a new area can feel overwhelming. At Christ First Church, we’re a community of everyday people learning to follow Jesus together. Whether you’re exploring faith or have walked with Christ for years, there’s room for you here.

What type of church is Christ First Church?

Christ First Church is a nondenominational, evangelical church

Christ First Church exists to help people know Jesus, grow in their faith, and live on mission. We are committed to the authority of Scripture, the gospel of grace, and living out our faith together in our community.

Where and when are the services?

We offer identical services on Sunday mornings at 9AM + 10:30AM. We're located at 95 W Devon Drive, Downingtown, PA 19335 in the heart of Chester County, right off of 113 and across the street from Downingtown East High School.

What should I wear?

There's no dress code, of course. Some friends dress casually and some dress up—it’s all good! Come exactly as you are and wear whatever you're most comfortable in.

What is service like?

We always start our services with a time of authentic, passionate praise and worship. Once worship is over, our Lead Pastor, Lee Wiggins brings a message from God's Word, the Bible. We close with a brief time to respond to God in both worship, prayer, and giving back to Jesus.

Services are about an hour and fifteen minutes long.

What about my kids?

The Next Gen ministry is an amazing place for kids from babes to High School!

Our Kidz ministry provides a great Sunday experience for children up to 3rd grade. Visit the "New Family" check-in station, where our team will register your children and give them a name badge with a parent pick-up tag. Our check-in system is designed for your child's safety.

Please let us know if you have any allergies or special requirements. If we need to contact you during service, your parent pick-up number will be displayed on the center LED screen in the Auditorium. Your child will be released to you when you show the parent pick-up tag to a teacher in your child’s classroom.

Kids in grades 4 and 5 will go downstairs to the Boiler Room and grades 6-8 check in downstairs in the HUB.

9th to 12th graders meet in The Underground on the North side of the building, with a reception time starting at 10 am and programming beginning at 10:30 am.
