Panama Mission Trip 2027

Join Christ First as we partner with Filter of Hope for a life-changing mission trip to Panama City, Panama, from January 16–22, 2027.

This is more than a missions experience. Together, we will work alongside local churches to bring clean drinking water into homes, share the hope of the gospel, pray with families, and help strengthen the church in Panama. Every water filter opens the door for conversations about Jesus and creates ongoing ministry opportunities for local believers. 

 

Whether this is your first mission trip or you’ve served internationally before, this trip is designed to help ordinary believers make an eternal impact.

 

What We’ll Be Doing

During the week, our team will:

• Distribute water filters to families in local communities

• Share the gospel and pray with people in their homes

• Partner directly with Panamanian pastors and churches

• Encourage and support local believers

• Experience the culture and people of Panama together as a team

Filter of Hope has seen thousands of families receive clean water and thousands come to Christ through these mission trips. 

 

Who Can Go?

This trip is open to adults, students, and families.

Children ages 9 and older are welcome, as long as they can manage themselves well throughout the week’s travel and ministry activities.

You do not need previous mission experience to participate.

 

What Is Panama Like?

Panama City is one of the most distinctive cities in Latin America — a place where modern skyscrapers and deep community needs coexist. 

Our team will partner with local churches serving communities throughout the area, including families who have relocated from more remote regions of Panama. 

 

The week will include meaningful ministry, cultural experiences, great food, and opportunities to build strong relationships with your team and the people you serve.

 

Lodging & Meals

Teams will stay in comfortable lodging in the heart of Panama City with easy access to restaurants and gathering spaces. 

Breakfast will be served at the hotel each morning, while lunch and dinner are typically shared together in the ministry communities alongside local churches. 

 

Fun Day

The trip will also include a fun day experience together as a team. Possible activities include visiting the Panama Canal, exploring local markets, or spending time at the beach.
